Lost and then found

I came into work this morning and was helping to clean up the space where we had our Art Hop party on Friday night whenI found my missing necklace crumpled up like a piece of trash on a table in the back of the room.  I have no idea if it was a small child who had taken it off the display and just left it back there or if someone had indeed stolen it and returned it on Saturday, but I am just grateful to have it back.  It isn't broken but it will need to be repaired.  I am happy to have it back but really bummed that it was treated like a piece of garbage.  Shame on you if you actually tried to steal it.  Artists put in a lot of time and energy into creating work for this show.  If it wasn't intentional  and was a small child who was just curious - let this be a reminder to parents to be more careful with your children at Art events.  It was very upsetting for me to have thought I lost it, but to have found it in the condition it was in hurts just as much.

At any rate I am happy to have it and will be putting it up for sale on my site as soon as I get it fixed.

Thank you all for the wonderful support you gave me by spreading the word.
